This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. This role is also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers. This position will also operate equipment such as electric pallet jacks, order pickers, and forklifts.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Licensure/ Certification: Completion of forklift certification within three months of hire.Other Skills/ Knowledge: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. Must be able to read, write, and perform simple mathematical calculations, in order to check and restock supply carts, fill orders, take and relay information, and complete documentation.Basic computer skills Excellent accuracy in transcribing data and/or entering data into computer terminal, writing and taking orders over the phone and to following verbal and written instructions in adhering to established work priorities.Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks while remaining detail oriented.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Diploma/ GED Experience: 1 year of experience in warehousing or manufacturing.OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
