Project Architect

We are seeking an experienced Project Architect to lead and support architectural projects from design development through construction completion. This role is responsible for producing high-quality design and construction documents, coordinating with internal teams and external consultants, and ensuring project deliverables meet client expectations, budget requirements, and scheduling objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent project coordination skills, and a thorough understanding of the architectural design and documentation process. This individual should be capable of managing multiple project phases while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead architectural projects through all phases of design and construction.
• Develop, coordinate, and review construction document sets.
• Produce detailed architectural drawings and project documentation.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, engineers, contractors, and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Support construction administration activities, including RFIs, submittal reviews, and site observations.
• Coordinate project schedules, deliverables, and technical requirements.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior architectural staff.
• Participate in design development and technical detailing efforts.
• Maintain quality control standards throughout project execution.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
• 8-10+ years of experience in the architecture field.
• Proficiency with Revit and/or AutoCAD.
• Strong experience producing and coordinating construction document sets.
• Experience with architectural detailing and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on commercial architectural projects.
• Construction administration experience.
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Providence, RI.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
