Ōnin Staffing is now hiring Assembly Welder Mechanics in Creedmoor for a client that manufactures and assembles utility crew trucks. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on welding experience while developing your technical skills.
As an Assembly Welder Mechanic , you'll play a key role in preparing and welding truck components to customer specifications, including:

- 1st Shift Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM-4:00 PM Friday 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
- 2nd shift Monday-Thursday 4:30 PM-2:45 AM Friday 3:00 PM-11:30 PM
- $22.00/hour + overtime opportunities
- 2nd shift has a $2 shift differential
- Hands-on technical work with specialized machinery

As an Assembly Welder Mechanic , you'll play a key role in preparing and welding truck components to customer specifications, including:
- Using plasma cutters and welding machinery to modify chassis
- Welding components in multiple positions with precision
- Operating manual welding equipment safely and effectively
- Mounting outriggers, bumpers, and hitches onto truck chassis
- Monitoring fitting, burning, and welding processes to ensure quality
- Identifying and correcting faulty equipment operation
- Experience operating plasma cutters and welding machinery
- Knowledge of MIG welding processes
- Experience monitoring fitting, burning, and welding operations for quality and safety
- Requirement: High School Diploma or GED (verified by a third-party vendor)
