Registered Radiology Technologist

Role Overview As a Radiology Technologist you will operate x‑ray equipment—including stationary units, mobile machines, C‑arms and fluoroscopy systems—to provide physicians with high‑quality images that help diagnose conditions. Your efforts facilitate a welcoming, calming and healing environment, relieving any discomfort patients may feel throughout the exam process. You will also explore opportunities in Cleveland Clinic’s Imaging School or advanced MRI, CT or Ultrasound Programs. Work Schedule Day/evening rotation: 7:30 am‑4:00 pm or 11:30 am‑8:00 pm. Key Responsibilities Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures. Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and without delay. Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS. Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam. Educate patients about procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation. Maintain documentation and report equipment malfunctions to management and the PACS administrator. Assist with scheduling procedures, monitor patient priority, and process billing. Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology school. Registered Technologist with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in good standing. Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association. Preferred Qualifications One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist. Physical Requirements Requires standing and walking for extended periods. Must be able to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily.
