Full-Time Line Cook

Position Overview Join the cooking team at Saddlebrook Resort in Tampa, Florida. The Cook works under the Chef to produce menu items for the cafeteria, banquet, dining room, and fine dining areas in a professional kitchen environment. Responsibilities Assist the Chef in production and fabrication of food products. Develop knowledge and skills in cooking procedures such as grill, sauté, and fry. Use knives and kitchen equipment to prepare ingredients. Recreate recipes consistently. Minimize food waste through cross‑utilization. Create and maintain workstations with all needed ingredients and equipment. Prepare ingredients—chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat. Maintain a sanitized and orderly kitchen environment. Store food and other items properly. Ensure the quality of ingredients. Qualifications Active food handler’s certification or ability to obtain one. Willingness to work a variety of day, night, and weekend shifts. Strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift at least 50 pounds.
