Minimum Qualifications Degrees: Diploma / GED Associate of Science in Ophthalmology (Preferred) Licenses & Certifications: Certified Ophthalmic Assistant: Joint Commission on Applied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology Basic Life Support from an American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross approved program Work Experience: Two (2) years of experience in an Ophthalmology/Optometry setting Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal Communication (Heavy Public Contact) Language: Bilingual Skills: Spanish (Preferred) Job Attributes Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Analytical Research Work Schedule Flexible Other Special Requirements Equipment Operated: Proficiency with diagnostic ophthalmology equipment including fundus camera, keratometer, A/B scan, IOL calculations, tonometry, visual fields, etc. #J-18808-Ljbffr
