Associate Attorney - Real Estate Finance

Full-Time 08/12/2025 Compensation: 240000.-280000. / Annually Our client, a business-focused law firm serving clients of all sizes and industries across the United States, has an immediate need for an experienced Associate Attorney – Real Estate Finance to join their team in Chicago. The successful candidate will work closely with shareholders and participate in business development and client-facing activities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS: 3-5 years of real estate finance experience representing lenders and investors in permanent, construction, and mezzanine loan transactions, ideally involving commercial, healthcare, auto, office, multifamily, retail, and industrial properties. Experience closing acquisitions and dispositions, and negotiating commercial leases (office, retail, warehouse, and industrial). Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently in a fast-paced, intellectually challenging environment. J.D. degree with strong academic credentials; admitted or in the process of becoming admitted in Illinois. WE OFFER: Competitive salary based on experience and class year.
