Cath Lab Tech - Travel Job

Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights. Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise while experiencing clinical practice in Denville, NJ. Assist physicians and Cath Lab personnel in diagnostic tests and interventional procedures. Operate advanced imaging equipment to capture images and data of the heart and vasculature. Provide procedural support for diagnostic angiography, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), mechanical circulatory support device placement, and endovascular and electrophysiology procedures depending on case mix.

What You'll Need:

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist required.
• RCIS (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a hospital Cath Lab setting required.
• Demonstrated experience operating C-arm fluoroscopy systems and performing routine LEAD maintenance.
• Fluoroscopy credentialing and comfort assisting with fluoroscopy-guided procedures required.
• Experience assisting in PCIs and inserting mechanical support devices such as Impella and intra-aortic balloon pump preferred.
• Experience scrubbing interventional radiology procedures including nephrostomy tube insertion, PICC and permacath insertion, and pacemaker insertion is preferred.
• Familiarity with cerebral thrombectomy and neurointerventional procedures is a plus.
• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.
• State licensure for New Jersey when required. Priority given to New Jersey ARRT license.

Minimum Requirements (Client Specific)

• MUST HAVE Cath Lab experience in a hospital setting.
• Fluoroscopy certification and demonstrated capability to operate fluoroscopy equipment.
• Ability to respond to on-call page and arrive within 30 minutes for call coverage.
• Willingness to provide call coverage 24 hours on weekends as required by the client.
• Ability to perform duties that encompass RCIS skill set.
• Experience with insertion and management of mechanical circulatory support devices (Impella, balloon pump) required.

• Shift Details: Days 0630-1700.
• On-call expectation: 4 days per week with at least 9 shifts per month; must be available to respond within 30 minutes of a page; weekend 24-hour call coverage required as specified by client.
• Assignment length: 13 Week.
• Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities within the client network when requested.
