Travel EP Lab Tech Role and Responsibilities: Assist in electrophysiology procedures such as cardiac ablations, device implantations, and cardiac mapping. Prepare patients, operate and troubleshoot EP lab equipment, monitor patient responses, and ensure a safe, sterile environment. Perform nursing assessments, educate patients and families, administer medications, and provide post-procedure care. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop treatment plans and respond to patient condition changes, adhering to safety and infection control protocols. Support seamless procedural workflows and perform other duties within scope of practice. Qualifications and Skills: Requires at least one year of recent EP Lab Tech experience, current BLS and ACLS certifications, and ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification. Preferred: radiologic technologist license, PALS or ENPC certifications. Key skills include critical thinking, excellent communication, physical ability to handle equipment and patients, and the capacity to work under pressure. Must demonstrate professionalism, effective teamwork, and adaptability.
