This role involves working in an acute care setting where you will provide high-quality care to obstetric patients. Key responsibilities of the RN Obstetrics include:

• Provide care for both low-risk and high-risk OB patients
• Stabilize newborns and act as a circulator during C-sections
• Titrate medications such as Pitocin and Magnesium
• Read and monitor fetal heart rate strips
• Float between units as needed, including to OB, ICU, Med/Surg, and ED

Requirements of the RN Obstetrics include:

• Active IL license or confirmation that application process has been initiated
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, EFM
• Experience in stabilization of newborns and C-section circulator duties
