A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Human Services Outreach Specialist.

• Pay Range - $23.00-26.00 an hour
• Schedule – M-F 8am-4:30pm- Hybrid Role - Remote/Field Visits
• Benefits – active after 90 days
• Travel required –Must live in on the following counties to be considered Mifflin, Juniata, Perry, Cumberland, Adams, Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon, Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Somerset, Fayette, Westmoreland, Indiana, Armstrong, Allegheny, Beaver, Washington, or Greene. Travel is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivers Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) services to Medicare beneficiaries, their families, and caregivers.
• Provides group education and one-on-one assistance on how to prevent, detect, and report Medicare fraud, errors, and abuse.
• Collects and analyzes information to evaluate program administration and effectiveness.
• Monitors compliance with federal, state, and departmental regulations and objectives.
• Researches, analyzes, and reviews data to develop and recommend policies and procedures.
• Develops reports evaluating program effectiveness and program outcomes.
• Resolves Medicare beneficiary complaints and concerns.
• Conducts community outreach and education activities.
• Assists with program planning, reporting, and compliance efforts.
• Recruits, trains, and manages volunteers within the assigned region.
• Supports Medicare beneficiary empowerment initiatives focused on preventing fraud before it occurs.
• Builds relationships with community organizations, beneficiaries, families, and caregivers.
• Consults and collaborates with other Regional Program Specialists.
• Works closely with the SMP Project Manager housed in PDA’s Education and Outreach Office.
• Supports the implementation and administration of statewide SMP program goals and initiatives within the assigned region.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in human services providing human services-related research, outreach, or social services to clients
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, social work, public health, or a related field.
• Preferred Prior experience working within a statewide human services program as a social worker, outreach specialist, or program specialist.
