Sr. Manager, Supply Chain

The group you’ll be a part of Global Supply Chain Management, GDOC, OEM The impact you’ll make At Lam, as a Manager of Supply Chain Business Managers (SBMs), you play a crucial role in partnering with suppliers to drive operational excellence and interfacing with internal customers to deliver to Lam’s goals. Your data-driven approach ensures effective planning, scheduling, and monitoring material movement through our dynamic global production cycle. You’ll benchmark and monitor supplier performance to manage risk. By driving continuous supplier process improvements, you support the productivity and efficiency of Lam's operations. What you’ll do As a Sr. SBM Manager, you will lead a team of SBMs to drive delivery and supplier operational excellence within a global supply chain. This role is within the Supply Chain Operations team and is instrumental in helping Supply Chain navigate through record ramps and other operational complexities thrown our way. In this position, you will help manage global factories, spare parts program and have responsibility for multiple suppliers within the OEM commodity. Who we’re looking for Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5-8 years of supervisory experience Fifteen years’ experience in managing global factories and various commodities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems with scalable and repeatable results Knowledge, experience and practical use of Microsoft Excel, SAP or other ERP systems Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills - Macros, Pivot Tables, Data Lookup/Indexing, Dashboards Must be willing and able to travel up to 20% (including domestic and international), or as required Public speaking/ Executive level presentation skills Experience in managing $500M+ of supplier spend Our commitment Lam Research (Lam or the Company) is an equal opportunity employer. Work location models Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. On-site Flex you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. Virtual Flex you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time. Salary CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $137,000.00 - $287,000.00. The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
