Bilingual Customer Service Representative (Spanish or French)

Schedule: Tuesday-Friday, 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM CST & Saturday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM CST

About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking two Bilingual Customer Service Representatives to join a growing financial services team:

• 1 Bilingual Spanish Representative
• 1 Bilingual French Representative

This is a fully remote opportunity supporting customers with auto loan and lease insurance requirements. Representatives will work directly with customers and insurance providers to resolve insurance-related issues, answer questions, and ensure required documentation is received and processed accurately.

This is not a sales or collections role. All calls are informational and focused on customer support and problem resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle approximately 14 outbound calls per hour.
• Contact customers regarding insurance-related discrepancies or missing information.
• Assist customers in resolving insurance documentation issues.
• Verify insurance information with insurance agencies and providers.
• Document customer interactions and updates in internal systems.
• Upload and maintain accurate customer and insurance records.
• Leave approved scripted messages when unable to reach insurance representatives.
• Follow established procedures while providing excellent customer service.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards in a phone-based environment.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent in either:
  • Spanish and English, or
  • French and English.
• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, including backgrounds such as:
  • Call Center Representative
  • Customer Service Representative
  • Retail Associate
  • Restaurant/Hospitality Professional
  • Administrative Support
  • Data Entry Specialist
• Ability to type at least 30 WPM.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable spending the majority of the workday on the phone.
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
• Demonstrated ability to meet performance expectations.
• Stable work history with no more than two employers within the past three years.

Training

Training is conducted remotely during the first three weeks.

Training Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM CST

Training will include:

• Classroom instruction
• Job shadowing
• System training
• Live call support

At the end of Week 3, employees must pass a performance assessment with a score of 80% or higher to transition into their assigned shift. Individuals who do not pass will have one additional week to successfully complete the assessment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior call center experience.
• Experience working in high-volume phone environments.
• Financial services, insurance, or administrative experience.
• Experience navigating multiple computer systems simultaneously.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
