The role focuses on Citi Private Bank client segment, delivering comprehensive, analytical and highly customised investment strategies with actionable solutions for ultra‑high‑net‑worth relationships. Responsibilities Design customised strategic and tactical asset allocation strategies for clients’ portfolios using proprietary models and tools. Perform in‑depth analysis on individual investment products, strategies and portfolios across asset classes. Conduct statistical modelling across asset classes. Collaborate with Private Bankers and Investment Counselors to develop objective, actionable proposals to clients. Present and discuss portfolio analysis and investment proposals with clients. Develop innovative solutions, tools and frameworks for the global Investments organisation. Position relevant CPB global and regional themes. Identify opportunities for CPB and client segments via analysis of book of business and market/product trends. Provide inclusive investment and portfolio positioning and/or research, liaising with regional and global counterparts. Participate in development, education and rollout of global initiatives, analytical tools and methods. Consistently follow and support regulatory policies. Qualifications Knowledge of Modern Portfolio Theory, asset allocation techniques, portfolio simulation, risk analytics, financial markets and investment strategies. Solid knowledge of Capital Markets and Managed Investment products including derivatives and alternative investments. Familiarity with financial modelling (including Monte Carlo simulation, optimisation and regression) and statistical analysis tools. Advanced skills in Excel, preferably with programming language capability. Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese/Cantonese. Strong Business English skills, with excellent written, verbal and proposal communication skills. At least 3‑5 years of relevant industry experience. Soft skills include a can‑do attitude, sense of ownership and a team‑player approach. Education: BA/BSc or master’s degree in quantitative subjects such as mathematics, finance, economics, risk or related fields. Previous investment experience with ultra‑high‑net‑worth, private bank clients or asset management. CFA designation or progress towards CFA. Knowledge of credit products, lendable values or investment finance. Knowledge of Python or other programming languages would be advantageous. Strong foundation in AI, machine learning and/or quantitative analytics skills.
