Registered Nurse (RN) in Emergency Room (ER)

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room (ER) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years ER experience required. Recent traveler experience preferred. License: Current state license or compact Certifications: BLS (AHA) NIHSS ACLS (AHA) PALS (AHA) TNCC (preferred) Must-Have: 2 Supervisory Reference Forms taken within the last two years. Skills checklist current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty.

Description: An ER nurse's primary responsibility is to identify medical issues and determine severity. They provide immediate support to minimize negative long-term effects and sustain life when necessary. An ER nurse is one of the first responders when a patient is admitted to the emergency room. The position entails working 6 nights in 6 weeks. Candidates local to the area may be considered at a reduced rate.
