You will develop and optimize ETL and ELT processes directed by metadata. You will convert large volumes of raw data into analytical structures ready for business decisions within data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift, ensuring efficiency, traceability, and quality throughout the data lifecycle.

You will define data architectures and flows, participating in key decisions and providing a technical vision that guarantees solutions aligned with business needs, applying modeling and architecture approaches such as Kimball, Data Vault, medallion architecture, Data Mesh, or Lakehouse solutions according to the context and objectives of the project.

You will contribute to the creation of frameworks, reusable patterns, and data accelerators that will be used in multiple projects, directly influencing how SDG designs and builds data solutions.

You will explore the state of the art in data architectures, integrating emerging trends and cutting-edge solutions like Apache Iceberg, Microsoft Fabric, and DLT. Your focus will be on the strategic implementation of Data Lakehouse and Data Mesh models, transforming key trends into innovative solutions that ensure the competitiveness and scalability of our data assets.

You will act as a reference within the team and projects, sharing best practices, reviewing designs through pair programming and code reviews, and contributing to raising the technical level of the team without assuming an exclusively management role.

What will make you succeed in this position? Education in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Mathematics, Physics, or similar. From 7 years as a Data Engineer developing data ingestion and transformation solutions in on-premise or cloud environments. Experience in architecture and modeling of Data Warehouses, both modern and traditional, with experience in structures, partitioning, and data lifecycle, applying methodologies such as Kimball, Inmon, or Data Vault 2.0 for data systems or platforms.

Tools of integration and orchestration. Mastery of modern tools like dbt and dlt, or traditional ones, along with experience in Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or equivalents. Good engineering practices. Code management with version control, CI/CD, and agile methodologies. Curiosity for emerging technologies and trends, with a willingness to experiment and propose continuous improvements. Ability to communicate in English to work in global environments and collaborate with international teams.

We also value: Modern data vision and experience in consulting. Familiarity with DataOps, Data Observability, Data Mesh, or Data Quality, ideally working with multiple clients and sectors. Advanced platforms and automation. Knowledge in Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, AWS Glue, Dataflow, or Dataproc. Experience in AI, ML pipelines, and MLOps, accelerating the exploitation of analytical and predictive data.
