Senior Full Stack Developer - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer - Hybrid position with a Major Financial Services Firm located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This is a full-stack development role with a strong emphasis on front-end technologies (80%). The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in Angular, ReactJS, and NestJS to build engaging web applications, while also contributing to backend API and microservice development using Java and Spring Boot. This position operates within an Agile/Scrum delivery model, requiring onsite presence two days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday).

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot
• Develop web applications and sites that engage and retain visitors, with a focus on front-end development
• Bridge the gap between design and implementation, providing web solutions involving collaboration, portals, and mobile functionality
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product owners, and QA teams to deliver high-quality, end-to-end solutions
• Optimize application performance, including API response times, database interactions, and system throughput
• Provide guidance on industry best practices for web applications and sites
• Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure the end product is delivered with quality outcomes
• Drive best practices around code quality, testing, CI/CD, and architecture

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
• 6-9 years of professional software development experience in an enterprise setting
• Strong front-end experience with Angular, NestJS, and ReactJS
• Back-end development experience with Java and Spring Boot for building APIs and microservices
• Mastery of modern web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Solid experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB)
• Strong understanding of RESTful services, API design, and integration patterns
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced Agile environment

Desired skills:

• Experience with reactive programming frameworks (e.g., Project Reactor, WebFlux)
• Knowledge of responsive web design, fluid layouts, and cross-browser compatibility
• Familiarity with SEO concepts and coding for Search Engine Optimization
• Experience with event-driven design and distributed systems architecture

Pay range: $59 - $69 per hour
