Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Roving Patrol in Cincinnati, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a caring culture built on teamwork, integrity, and reliability while bringing an agile, innovative approach to daily operations.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and/or visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with management and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, monitoring for unusual activity, unsecured access points, and other security-related concerns.
• Support assigned armed post duties in accordance with site policies and Allied Universal standards, maintaining professional presence and handling security-related situations with sound judgment.
• Assist with monitoring entry and exit activity, verifying authorized access, and reporting maintenance, life protection, and/or policy-related issues observed during the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
