We understand that our clinical personnel play a major role in doing so and we are looking for a Supervisor/Team Lead whose values and mission aligns with ours. This position has the potential to grow into a Practice Manager role.Schedule:Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Open to input, make observations and offer guidance to support teamExceptional written and oral communication skillsStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsExperience with Microsoft Office Applications and Electronic Medical Records programsAbility to work in a fast-paced and evolving healthcare environmentHigh degree of problem solving and critical thinking skills Essential Functions and DutiesCreate, maintain, and optimize daily and weekly staffing schedules for MAs and PSRs to ensure adequate clinical coverage during peak allergy shot hours and patient surges.Design and execute training programs for new and existing staff on specialized allergy protocols, prior authorization workflows, and the buy-and-bill process.Oversee the procurement, tracking, and reimbursement pipeline for high-cost specialty allergy biologics (e.g., Xolair, Dupixent).Submit, track, and appeal prior authorizations (PAs) for specialized allergy therapies, ensuring strict adherence to insurance criteria and clinical documentation rules.Monitor stock levels and order specialized medical supplies (e.g., extracts, testing lancets, syringes, epinephrine) and office goods to prevent shortages or costly expirations.Fill in at the front office as needed to check in patients, collect copays, answer phone lines, and schedule strict allergy treatment intervals.Step into the back-office workflow to room patients, perform skin prick testing, administer allergy injections, and conduct spirometry.Education and Experience:One year of medical assistant experience.Allergy office experience is preferred, but not required.At least 1 year of prior auth experience.Prefer 5 years of medical office experienceGranger Medical Clinic offers competitive wages, potential for quarterly bonuses, and excellent benefits.
