Tax Manager

Tax Manager

A well-known, aggressive CPA firm is ready to add the next leader to the team. This opportunity is part of the firm's growth strategy and commitment to strengthening its tax practice. They are seeking a Tax Manager to oversee a team of highly motivated professionals. The successful candidate will have high ethical standards and make an impact from day one.

Performance Expectations for the Tax Manager:
  • Oversee and manage a team of highly motivated staff accountants and tax accountants
  • Provide tax compliance and consulting services to a diverse client base
  • Oversee complex tax projects across a variety of clients and industries
  • Build and maintain professional relationships to help grow the firm's network and client base
  • Provide timely and thorough evaluations and mentoring for staff accountants
  • Serve as a hands-on leader and trusted advisor
Experience/Qualifications for the Tax Manager:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Master's Degree in Taxation (highly desirable)
  • Active CPA license
  • 5+ years of proven public accounting experience in a tax supervisory role
  • Strong ability to utilize technology to enhance client service
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
  • Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
