We are hiring an Overhead Crane Operator for an on-site position in Houston, TX. This role supports material movement and load handling operations in a temporary assignment with an opportunity for permanent placement. The schedule includes both first shift and second shift availability. The client is seeking a dependable operator who can work safely, follow established procedures, and communicate clearly in a fast-paced industrial environment. Prior experience as an overhead crane operator is required, along with strong awareness of rigging, load control, and workplace safety. English and Spanish communication skills are preferred for day-to-day coordination with team members and supervisors. This position is a good fit for a candidate who is detail-oriented, team-focused, and able to maintain accurate attention to operational requirements throughout the shift.

What You Will Do?

• Operate an overhead crane to move materials safely and support daily production or warehouse operations.

• Handle loads with proper rigging awareness and follow established lifting and positioning procedures.

• Inspect work areas and equipment before use to help maintain safe operating conditions.

• Follow all safety compliance requirements and report hazards, equipment issues, or unsafe conditions promptly.

• Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to coordinate lifts and material movement.

• Maintain attention to detail while completing assignments accurately and consistently during the shift.

• Work cooperatively with the team to support efficient operations and reliable workflow.

Your Skills

• You must have experience as an overhead crane operator and understand safe crane handling practices.

• You need strong load handling and rigging awareness to support controlled material movement.

• You must follow safety compliance requirements consistently in an industrial or production environment.

• You should communicate effectively in English and Spanish with team members and supervisors.

• You need teamwork skills to coordinate with others and support safe, efficient operations.

• You must maintain attention to detail to help prevent errors during lifting and load positioning.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
