Automotive Technician

Job Overview Automotive Technician – Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) located in Nashville, Tennessee. Pay range: $17.50 – $26.30 per hour with flat‑rate performance compensation. Responsibilities Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services. Conduct inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems. Install batteries and check electrical systems. Perform tire maintenance and install parts. Road test vehicles and verify functionality. Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications in at least one of A1–A8 within the first two years of employment (company covers test and registration fees; bonus for passing). Minimum Qualifications Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks. Valid automobile driver's license and ability to drive company or customer vehicles. Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance and tire repair services, including oil changes. Reading, writing, and basic math skills. Preferred Qualifications Two years of automotive repair experience or completion of a vocational‑technical program in a related field. Evidence of skills via third‑party certificates or assessments.
