MARINE MACHINERY MECHANIC: $24.85 - $45.79 PER HOUR PER HOUR
- Disassemble, inspect, repair, test, shipboard lay-out and alignment, and install steam or gas turbines, reduction gears and other main propulsion components.
- Responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and adjusting mechanical systems and components to assure proper operations.
- Read and interpret drawings, sketches, plans and blueprints for fabrications, installation, repair and modification of shipboard mechanical systems.
- Ability to establish accurate equipment/component geometry to operate, test, inspect, align, and verify equipment/component functionality per manufacturing specifications.
