Standard shop hours are Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexible scheduling options available outside of these hours. Weekend hours can be worked for additional earnings.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty diesel trucks
- Perform preventive maintenance and complex component repairs
- Conduct Federal Annual Vehicle DOT Inspections (FMCSA compliant)
- Troubleshoot and repair air brake, electrical, and emission systems
- Utilize industry-standard diagnostic systems, including:
- Diagnostic Link 8
- Eaton Service Ranger 4
- Bendix ACom
- Meritor WABCO Toolbox
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
- Represent the organization with pride at all times
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a diesel technician is required
- Journey-level mechanic experience is preferred
- CDL-A license
- ASE Certifications are preferred but not mandatory
- Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting abilities
- Mechanical knowledge of both gas and diesel engines
- Familiarity with OSHA safety best practices
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Proficiency in English
- Willingness to relocate to Indianapolis before the start date (if applicable)
- This is an in-person position; remote work is not available
