Manager, Product Performance

In this position...

As a Product Performance Manager within Integrated Services Retail—spanning BlueCruise, Connectivity, Secure, 3rd Party Partners, Rewards, and the Ford App—you will support the growth of the paid subscriber base. Reporting to the Associate Director of Business Planning and Performance, you are accountable for monitoring and identifying opportunities to deliver the subscriber and revenue targets in the plan of record: increasing conversion, reducing churn, reactivating lapsed or churned customers.

Working across the IS Retail team, you will scope and size the growth opportunities, translate them into targeted initiatives with a quantified expected impact, and drive them to execution with the D2C team, Marketing, Product, and Partnerships

Responsibilities

What you'll do...

• Monitor the portfolio of paid subscribers. Be accountable for understanding the subscriber, conversion, retention, and revenue targets set in the plan of record across all Integrated Services Retail product lines.
• Turn risks and opportunities into initiatives. Convert the highest-value items on the list into targeted, executable growth initiatives with a clear owner, launch date, and measurable success criteria.
• Own the growth opportunity list. Build and maintain the pipeline of scoped, sized growth opportunities across convert, retain, and win-back—each with an expected metric movement, subscriber and revenue impact, confidence level, required partners, and timing.
• Partner with D2C team to drive trial-to-paid conversion across the trial and single-unlock funnel, including offer construct, timing, targeting, and in-vehicle and in-app touchpoints.
• Partner with the D2C team to drive retention and win-back, diagnosing churn drivers with the analytics manager and deploying targeted interventions through Marketing, Promotions, and Product.
• Partner with Digital Product to close the loop on product performance. Deep-dive funnel, feature-level, and engagement metrics with the Digital Product team, translating what the data reveals about customer behavior into prioritized, evidence-based input to the product roadmap and in-vehicle/in-app experience.
• Manage the growth test-and-learn agenda, sequencing experiments by expected value, and working with Analytics to measure lift and codify what scales.
• Feed the planning and review cadence. Supply the growth actions and quantified upside into the Risk & Opportunity process, the business plan, and the weekly business performance review, using only Analytics-defined metrics.

Qualifications

You'll have...

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in growth, subscription or lifecycle management, commercial/go-to-market strategy, product marketing, or business operations.
• Experience sizing and prioritizing growth opportunities and translating them into initiatives with quantified expected impact.
• Proven ability to deliver results through cross-functional partners without direct authority, working effectively with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance.
• Strong analytical fluency—able to interrogate funnel, cohort, and churn data and connect operational levers to financial outcomes.
• Strong executive communication skills and comfort operating in a fast-paced, startup environment.

• Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience in subscription, recurring-revenue, or consumer digital businesses, including trial conversion, churn, and win-back programs.
• Experience with loyalty, rewards, or app engagement programs as growth levers.
• Experience with partner-sourced or channel-driven customer acquisition.
• Familiarity with experimentation design and incrementality measurement.
• Experience in automotive/OEM or dealer-network environments.
• Proficiency with BI and analytics platforms; SQL a plus.
• Understanding of global markets and international business operations.

This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $115,500-$218,100.

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
Internal applicants: moving into this role may result in an adjustment to your current compensation based on the posted pay range for this role, taking into consideration your qualifications and other relevant factors.
