Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN in the ICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to patients with complex health issues including cardiovascular and multi-system trauma.
• Manage nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:2 for high acuity and 1:1 for immediate post-op heart patients.
• Monitor and titrate critical drips such as Epi, norepi, propofol, and insulin.
• Collaborate with the care team including intensivists and manage telemetry data independently.
• Engage in comprehensive unit-based orientation and complete competency assessments.
• Adapt to flexible scheduling, including weekend and holiday rotations as needed.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Wisconsin required.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications mandatory; TNCC preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in an ICU setting with high acuity patients.
• Proficiency in managing critical care equipment such as ventilators and CRRT.
• Experience with Cerner charting systems advantageous.
• Ability to work variable shifts, primarily nights with some days as required.
