Skyview Rehab and Nursing is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Admissions to join our team at our facility in Wallingford, Connecticut. As a valued member of our admissions team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and seamless process for our patients and their families. About the Role: Director of Admissions Serve as the primary point of contact for patient inquiries and admissions Coordinate with healthcare providers, referral sources, and insurance companies to facilitate the admissions process Should have Insurance experience Conduct patient assessments to determine eligibility and develop personalized care plans Collaborate with the care team to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient admissions, assessments, and treatment plans Process admission paperwork Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective admissions strategies to meet or exceed departmental targets Manage admissions budgets and monitor expenses to ensure financial stability Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of exeperience in a Skilled Nursing Facility Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions Familiarity with healthcare regulations #J-18808-Ljbffr Skyview-Rehab-and-Nursing
