Gundersen Palmer Lutheran Hospital and Clinics is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our highly committed and dynamic team at our Fayette, Iowa clinic as we provide excellent quality care to patients of all ages.

What You'll Do:

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a direct role in providing LOVE + MEDICINE for a broad range of patients. You will be expected to perform in a fast-paced clinical and professional environment, while helping deliver patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team.

What's Available:

• Full-time, 72 hours biweekly (0.9 FTE)
• Starting pay of $21.34/hr and up, based on your years of experience.

What You'll Need:

• High School diploma or equivalency.
• Certification is required within 18 months of hire date by one of the following certifying boards:
• American Association of Medical Assistants as a Certified Medical Assistant
• National Health Career Association as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
• National Center for Competency Testing as a National Certified Medical Assistant
• American Medical Technologists as a Registered Medical Assistant
• National Association for Health Professionals as a Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant
• Prior Clinic MA experience preferred.
