Housekeeper/Room AttendantThe Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring that guest rooms and public areas of the Hotel are cleaned and linens are restocked ensuring the Hotel is maintained to a high presentation.Benefits include 401(k), employee discounts, and a flexible schedule.Job duties include cleaning guest rooms to standard as assigned, performing physical labor, answering guest requests, providing excellent customer service as per the standards of the Hotel, courteously and promptly responding to guest room requests, moving heavy objects as requested, performing side duties as required, working closely with other departments to achieve maximum guest satisfaction, maintaining a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment at all times, understanding the emergency procedures for the entire Hotel, and answering guest requests when necessary.Job requirements include job-related experience as an asset, being neat, professional, and well-groomed, possessing good organization/time management skills, being a self-motivator who works with little supervision, being able to work in a fast-paced environment, being able to stand for extended periods of time, being in good physical condition with frequent pushing/pulling/reaching/stooping/handling and gripping required, being able to lift up to 25 pounds (lifting above the shoulder is also required), relating well to Hotel guests and employees, being guest-service oriented and a team player, being a high-initiative/self-starter with good communication skills, being professional in demeanor and presentation, being personable, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and able to work independently, having the ability to learn quickly, understanding and carrying out oral and written instructions and requesting clarification when needed, having a positive attitude and outgoing personality, and being able to work shifts-days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.Compensation: $15.00 per hourFounded in 1919, Woodbury Corporation is one of the oldest and most respected hospitality and real estate development companies in the Intermountain West.
