CT Technologist

divh2CT Technologist/h2pOur Tucker outpatient facility is seeking a full-time CT Technologist to join us on our mission to provide top-notch patient care while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. The department features a GE Optima 660 128 slice with AW processing workstation. We are looking for a confident and compassionate professional who is reliable, flexible, self-motivated and has a positive attitude. Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to:/pulliPerforming CT and CTA scans according to protocols/liliCalcium Scoring and Coronary Angiography experience desirable/liliManaging CT schedule workflow/liliPerforming basic X-rays using in-house CR system/liliEffectively producing high quality images for interpretations/liliProducing reports according to MDs interpretation/liliWorking with the front office to maximize schedules/liliMake reminder calls to patients to provide prep instructions/liliExplain and prepare each patient for CT exams/liliBe able to recognize emergent patient conditions and act on them accordingly/liliMust have proficient venipuncture skills and be able to prepare and administer contrast materials/liliTake all required safety measures to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff/liliMonitor equipment performance and take appropriate actions to arrange service or repairs/liliInterface with other departments when sharing mutual patients/liliOrder all supplies for CT department/liliAssist with ACR reaccreditation/liliAssist with preauthorizing scheduled exams/liliPerform all other duties as assigned or required to ensure operation of the department within the scope of practice/li/ulpMinimum Qualifications:/pulliMust be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and at a minimum be registered with the ARRT./liliOne year minimum experience preferred./liliAdvanced certification in CT preferred./liliBasic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association required./li/ul/div
