Kubernetes Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Kubernetes Engineer to join our dynamic team in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure scalable, reliable, and secure container orchestration solutions. Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain Kubernetes clusters and related infrastructure. Automate deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications. Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability on Kubernetes. Monitor cluster health and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability. Implement security best practices for Kubernetes environments. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines integrating Kubernetes deployments. Stay current with Kubernetes ecosystem developments and recommend improvements. Document architecture, processes, and procedures related to Kubernetes operations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience. Proven experience with Kubernetes administration and cluster management. Strong knowledge of container technologies such as Docker. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and hybrid environments. Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.). Understanding of networking, security, and storage concepts in Kubernetes. Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Kubernetes certification (CKA, CKAD) is a plus.
