Facility Address: 7305 North Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 33410 GI LAB RESPONSIBILITIES (listed are included but not limited to) The Procedural RN is a licensed professional who uses the best professional practice model to coordinate patient care delivery by the health care team. Using the nursing process, the RN assesses the patient, identifies nursing diagnoses bases on responses to health problems, develops and implements an individualized plan of care, and evaluates the patient's response. The RN promotes safe passage for their patients by using knowledge of patient needs and the healthcare environment to assist patients to transition through the healthcare encounter without any preventable complications or delays.Must provide professional nursing care for the GI patient.Perform esophageal and anal/rectal manometry procedures.Assist physicians during EGD/Colonoscopy, Bronchoscopy/EBUS, and Cardioversion/TEE procedures.Maintain professional relationships with staff and physicians.Provide perioperative teaching, IV placement, and preparation for a procedure.Provide safe and effective care of the post anesthesia patient and teach discharge instructions.GI LAB RN REQUIREMENTSMust be a graduate of a Diploma, Bachelor or Master's program of Registered Nursing.
