Position Details • Role: Senior Kubernetes Java Developer • Location: North Chicago, IL – 100% onsite, no exceptions • Duration: Full Time • Industry: E-commerce • Preference: Local candidates strongly preferred • Interview Process: 1–2 rounds via MS Teams + 1 onsite round • Background Check: Employment references and drug screening Client is migrating from Spring 2.2 to 3.2, and from Java 8 to Java 17. Kubernetes expertise from day one is an absolute requirement. Must-Have Skills:- Deep, hands-on experience with on-prem Kubernetes- Expert-level Spring Boot and Microservices development- Experience with GitOps, Hibernate, and Service Discovery- Strong background in CI/CD tooling, Argo CD, Service Mesh and Red Hat OpenShift.- Database experience with Cassandra/DataStax and SQL Server (any NoSQL experience accepted in place of Cassandra)$$$ Referral Bonus Know someone who could be a great fit?
