Underwriter Specializing in Homeowners MGA Are you passionate about helping people protect what matters most? Join our team as an Underwriter specializing in Homeowners MGA. You'll play a key role in evaluating risks and making decisions that ensure our clients get the coverage they need. How you'll make an impact: Review individual insurance applications for property and casualty coverage. Assess risks by evaluating property value, location, usage, safety features, and other key details. Decide whether to accept, modify, or decline risks based on established guidelines. Collaborate with field teams to gather information and defend underwriting decisions. Support senior underwriters in managing accounts and servicing clients. Your work will help families and individuals feel secure in their homes, knowing they're protected by the right insurance solutions. About you: Required: Bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office. Behaviors: Detail oriented; strong analytical skills and good communication and interpersonal skills Compensation and benefits: We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
