Position Overview: We are seeking a licensed Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures at our outpatient clinic in San Jose. You will support our physicians in diagnosing injuries using high-frequency x-ray equipment while adhering strictly to ALARA principles.
Core Responsibilities:
Perform routine and specialized diagnostic radiology procedures (including fluoroscopic imaging).
Prepare, position, and reassure patients to ensure optimal image quality and minimal anxiety.
Determine appropriate technical factors and exposure settings based on patient anatomy.
Perform daily equipment quality checks, calibration, and compliance testing.
Maintain clinical records in compliance with California state, federal, and HIPAA regulations.
Utilize PACS and RIS workflows to collaborate efficiently with physicians and radiologists.
Qualifications & Certifications:
Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist License ( CRT ) — Required
Current ARRT certification in Radiography — (R)(ARRT)— Required
Current Basic Life Support ( BLS ) certification — Required
Associate degree in Science or higher.
Minimum 2 years of diagnostic x-ray experience preferred.
Experience working with PACS and RIS digital systems.
