Special Education (SPED) – Cross Categorical

Location: Ashburn, VA
Area: Cedar Lane ES
Class: SPED Cross Cat
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 2:45 PM
Pay Rate: $40–$45/Hour (Based on Experience)

Job Summary

Seeking a Special Education professional to support students with diverse learning and developmental needs in a school setting. The role involves providing individualized support and working closely with teachers and school staff to promote student success.

Responsibilities

Provide individualized academic and behavioral support to students with special needs.
Assist with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
Support students with classroom activities and daily routines.
Monitor student progress and communicate observations to the teaching team.
Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families as needed.
Assist students in developing social, emotional, and academic skills.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
