About the Role:
Network 1 Inc is looking for a passionate and motivated Job Coach to join our team in Lawndale, CA! In this rewarding role, you'll make a direct impact by empowering individuals to find meaningful employment and build lasting careers. Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one job coaching and career counseling to clients seeking employment
- Assist clients with resume writing, cover letter development, and job application processes
- Conduct mock interviews and provide constructive feedback to improve interview skills
- Develop individualized employment plans tailored to each client's skills, goals, and needs
- Build and maintain relationships with local employers to identify job placement opportunities
- Monitor client progress and provide ongoing support during job search and onboarding
- Maintain accurate case notes and documentation in compliance with program requirements
Requirements:
- Experience in job coaching, workforce development, career counseling, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of local job market, employment resources, and community services
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills
- Ability to work with diverse populations, including individuals with barriers to employment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software
- Bachelor's degree in social services, human resources, or a related field preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required
