Marketing Coordinator (Part-Time)

About the Role Centra Funding is seeking a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support marketing campaigns, trade shows, and daily execution across our borrower, vendor, and broker channels. You will work directly with our VP of Marketing to build email campaigns, create social media content, update marketing materials, coordinate trade show activities, and keep projects moving forward. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on marketing work, pays attention to detail, and can turn clear direction into polished deliverables. We're looking for someone who is proactive, comfortable using modern marketing tools, and eager to grow professionally, with the potential to transition into a full‑time position as our marketing efforts expand. Key Responsibilities Email Marketing Build, format, and schedule email campaigns using approved content and templates. Support contact lists, audience segmentation, and campaign setup. Compile campaign results and identify opportunities for improvement. Social Media and Content Create and schedule social media posts featuring company news, funded deals, vendor programs, and industry topics. Design graphics and marketing materials using Canva or similar tools. Repurpose existing content into emails, social posts, flyers, and sales materials. Maintain a content calendar and coordinate content approvals. Ensure all content aligns with Centra Funding's brand standards and messaging. Website and Campaign Support Make basic website updates, including text, images, links, and blog posts. Assist with landing page updates, campaign launches, and form testing. Follow established SEO and campaign tracking guidelines. Coordinate website and campaign updates with our external digital marketing partner. Support quality assurance testing to ensure marketing assets, links, and forms function properly. Trade Show and Event Support Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing trade shows, conferences, and industry events. Coordinate event marketing materials, including booth graphics, signage, flyers, promotional items, and presentations. Support pre-show and post-show email campaigns, social media promotions, and attendee communications. Help manage event logistics, including registrations, shipping, vendor coordination, and deadlines. Organize attendee and lead lists, support post-event follow-up campaigns, and assist with event reporting. Maintain an organized trade show calendar and track event deliverables to ensure timely execution. Marketing Coordination Support requests for flyers, presentations, event materials, and vendor or broker communications. Track deadlines, organize creative assets, and keep project statuses current. Pull routine marketing reports and maintain accurate campaign records. Coordinate with internal teams and external marketing partners to keep deliverables on schedule. Flag issues promptly, communicate progress, and follow projects through completion. Qualifications Some practical marketing experience through employment, internships, freelance work, or relevant projects. Strong writing, proofreading, communication, and organizational skills. Experience with Canva or comparable design tools. Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as HubSpot, Mailchimp, or similar tools. Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize deadlines, and work independently after receiving direction. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, professional work. Comfort using AI tools to support drafting, content creation, and marketing production, with careful review for accuracy and brand consistency. Willingness to learn new marketing platforms, tools, and processes. Availability to work approximately 20–25 hours per week in our Plano office. What Success Looks Like Campaigns and marketing materials are accurate, polished, and delivered on time. Social media and email calendars remain consistent, trade show preparations are organized, and marketing requests move forward efficiently.
