IT Systems Technician

Job Summary The IT Systems Technician role involves providing technical support and maintenance for IT systems within the finance department. This entry-level position requires hands‑on assistance with help desk operations and systems troubleshooting, ensuring smooth and secure IT functionality at the Montgomery, Alabama location. Responsibilities Provide help desk support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues. Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of IT systems and infrastructure. Conduct troubleshooting and resolve technical problems in a timely manner. Support implementation of IT policies and security protocols. Collaborate with team members to elevate and resolve complex technical issues. Document support activities and maintain accurate records of IT assets. Required Skills & Certifications High school diploma or equivalent. Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship. Successful completion of a standard background check and drug screening. Basic knowledge of computer systems, networks, and help desk procedures. Strong communication and problem‑solving skills. Preferred Skills & Certifications Experience or coursework related to IT support or help desk roles. Familiarity with common operating systems and office productivity software. Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or equivalent are advantageous. Special Considerations Position requires working 100% on‑site in Montgomery, Alabama; no remote work allowed. Candidate must be eligible for conversion to a merit‑based position. Compliance with drug screening and background security protocols is mandatory. Submittals must be from prime suppliers only, with limited sub‑vendor usage. Scheduling Full‑time position with a 40‑hour workweek. Position duration from July 20, 2026, to September 30, 2026.
