Job Summary:
As a Per Diem Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at Pearl Pointe, you will provide high-quality speech-language pathology services to our patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Responsibilities:
• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders , including speech, language, cognitive, and voice disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans , in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, to meet the unique needs of each patient
• Provide therapy sessions in a variety of settings , including individual and group sessions, as well as family therapy and education
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans
• Stay current with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and training
Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
Speech-Language Pathology Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
State licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
