Job Description
Staffing Recruiter is responsible for finding, screening, and placing qualified candidates with employers. The role often involves working for a staffing agency or recruiting firm, matching job seekers with temporary, contract, or permanent positions.
Typical Responsibilities
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and networking.
- Review resumes and conduct phone or video interviews.
- Assess candidates' skills, experience, and career goals.
- Match candidates with suitable job openings.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Negotiate job offers, pay rates, and start dates.
- Maintain relationships with clients and candidates.
- Track recruitment activities using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
