Overview
Registered Nurse – ICU travel assignment in a critical access hospital setting located in Clearlake, California. Start date 10/19/2026 for a 13-week contract with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver patient care for the adult ICU population, consistent with unit standards
- Monitor patient status, administer medications and therapies, and document changes promptly
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Prioritize patient safety, maintain infection control practices, and ensure privacy and confidentiality
- Communicate with patients and families to provide education and updates on care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and comply with unit policies

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license to practice in California
- ACLS certification required; BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
- PALS certification within six months of hire
- EPIC electronic medical record experience
- Minimum two years of documented ICU experience or completion of an approved ICU training program
- Vaccination as a condition of employment (exemptions may apply) and willingness to participate in E-Verify process
- Ability to work day shifts in a critical access hospital ICU environment
