The Opportunity We are hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to serve clients across Rhode Island. Key Requirement All applicants are required to pass a Competency Evaluation prior to being hired, in addition to meeting all listed requirements. Responsibilities Assist with ADLs and IADLs (activities of daily living) such as bathing, grooming, meal prep, and light housekeeping Provide personal care, companionship, and emotional support Support mobility and safe transfers Remind clients about medications, help open containers, and document side effects under nurse guidance Communicate with the care team to ensure client well-being Requirements Current CPR and BLS certification At least 1 year of recent CNA experience (home care preferred) Empathy, patience, and strong communication skills High school diploma or equivalent Compliance Note As of June 2025, under Medicaid regulation 210-RICR-20-05-1, payment for services provided by immediate family members may be restricted. In Home Wellcare reviews each case to determine eligibility in line with state rules.
