This will be a critical role as we continue to grow rapidly to support internal stakeholders under the Vice President, Deputy General Counsel. We are looking for an experienced legal operations professional who is energized by shaping a new role at high-growth company and will focus on supporting and improving Legal department's workflows and process as well as identifying and assisting new legal technologies implementation. Applicants should be excited to immerse themselves in an accelerated environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience assessing a Legal department's processes and workflows and recommending improvements, working cross functionally, as well as managing emerging legal operations technologies and platforms. Equally important are strong communication skills, the ability to work in a team-setting, and the willingness to learn new skills and grow. If you are eager to work in a strong team-oriented environment, we want to hear from you!What Your Day-To-Day Will Involve:Play a central role in evaluating, selecting, implementing and administering legal systems, policies, playbooks and procedures in coordination with legal team, other departments and vendors to improve departmental workflow and consistencyDevelop, maintain and track department key performance metrics to track and communicate performanceProvide ongoing training and support on processes and technologies for all Legal Department resources to the Legal Department and other cross-functional teamsOversee and support certain administrative duties in Legal department, including file repository management, event coordination, and data analyticsDay-to-day maintenance and administration of the company's contracts lifecycle management (CLM) software and other software toolsAct as notary public for the Legal Department and other requests from other departments in the companyPerform additional functions, duties and specific tasks of a similar nature and scope as necessary to achieve assigned business objectives.The Qualifications We Need You to PossessTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Minimum Qualifications:3+ years experience in a position responsible for legal operations at an in-house company, law firm, or consulting firm highly preferred, but not requiredBachelor's degreeExperience utilizing Ironclad is highly preferred, but experience with other contract management software is also sufficientAptitude in learning and using software applications and other web-based platformsExperience in assessing, evaluating, and implementing technology solutionsInterest and experience in using AI tools to assist Legal Department tasksExcellent attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, judgment, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skillsHigh personal standards of excellence and ethics, as well as the ability to act with discretion and sensitivityExperience in handling confidential business matters and information with discretionExcellent computer, basic skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation softwareSelf-starter with an ability to thrive in a high-paced environment, requiring exceptional organizational skills and juggling multiple mattersCertification, or ability to achieve a certification, as a notary publicPay Range for this role:$99,760 to $117,370
