- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tractor-trailer, submitting a DOT inspection report that details the vehicle's condition.
- Verify the accuracy of the bill of lading and store keys during off-hour deliveries.
- Operate the tractor-trailer to designated locations, utilizing knowledge of commercial driving regulations and vehicle maneuvering skills.
- Maintain a driver log (either Manual or Peoplenet) in compliance with DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipts, product temperatures, and any exceptions.
- Unload the trailer and deliver products to customer locations.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Possess a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
- Have a minimum of 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of experience driving a tractor-trailer.
- Meet our organization's MVR and risk rating standards.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English at a level necessary to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely, including understanding work instructions and safety protocols.
