Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Prefer experience on a medical/surgical unit. Description: This position is for a Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse. The RN will work with adult and geriatric patient populations. The typical patient ratios will range from 5:1 to 6:1. Equipment includes telemetry monitors, IV pumps, bladder scanners, and EHR systems. The role involves caring for a diverse range of medical conditions, requiring strong assessment and intervention skills. The dress code for this position includes galaxy blue scrubs, with navy also acceptable. Fingernails should be kept clean and not excessive in length. Tattoos that may be considered offensive must be covered, and excessive jewelry is not allowed. This role may require occasional floating to like units based on patient care needs. Candidates are expected to demonstrate effective communication and teamwork skills.
