Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/27/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: A Labor and Delivery (L&D) registered nurse is needed in Santa Monica, California. This role involves providing high-quality care in a busy antepartum and delivery unit, including high-risk pregnancy monitoring, fetal heart monitoring, and assisting with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. Job Details: Location: Santa Monica, California Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: California license in hand; minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery; Certifications including ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), AWHONN Advanced (Association of Womens Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses), BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring) are required. Preferred Qualifications: Experience assisting with vaginal delivery, circulating for cesarean sections, high-risk antepartum care, and working in OR suites during cesarean procedures. Additional Information: No on-call required; will float to postpartum as needed. Can work in OR during cesarean deliveries using standard equipment. Will float between units within the state; RTO must be included at submission. Must be willing to work 3 of the 5 major holidays.
