Assistant Manager

Branch Operations AssistantTo assist the branch manager with the operations of branch performance.Specific duties, activities, and responsibilities include but are not limited to:Manages 1-5 employees as indicated by the Branch ManagerAssists in the management of store inventoryServes as an intermediary between the manager and store and customer issuesMakes and receives sales and customer calls as neededCoordinates tasks, the pulling of orders, deliveries, and other store tasksEnsures that employees are in compliance with company policy, safety standards, and safety practicesEHS requirements:Complete all work in a safe manner and follow all safety requirements consistent with supporting the company's TRIR goalsFollow all environmental requirements consistent with supporting the company's environmental performance goalsComplete, and actively participate in all the company's safety training requirementsPosition requirements:2 years of experience in oil, gas, industrial, or related industry1 year of experience in a management or supervisory roleKnowledge of Bell Supply Company product linesAbility to communicate with customers on various levels to ensure quality customer serviceIntermediate to advanced experience with Excel, Word, and EmailIntermediate to advanced experience with computer navigationAbility to lift up to 50 lbs unassistedAbility to bend and stoop as necessaryAbility to communicate on a variety of levels to accommodate the experience of othersAbility to travel as necessary for performance of dutiesAbility to sit or stand for long periods of timeWork environment:This position works inside a climate-controlled environment in a Bell Supply Branch. The Company will supply adequate training and equipment to perform the functions of the job.
