**Join Our Team as a Skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist!** **Job Description:** - **Contracts Available:** Up until the end of February - **Travel Requirements:** - RTO after booking is NOT allowed - Onsite adjustments are NOT permitted - Additional RTO may lead to cancellation and DNR - **Your Start Date:** - Subject to class and trainer availability - Expected start on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week - Must be fully available to accommodate potential schedule changes - Final start date confirmed the Tuesday prior to the start week - **Required Skills & Certifications:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience required (previous Stroke Certified Hospital experience preferred) - Traveler experience: unit WILL NOT accept first-time travelers - Local candidates accepted - **Work Setting Skills:** - Interventional Radiology & Special Procedures - Maintain equipment, PACS & stock supplies - **Abdominal and Pelvic Skills:** - Proficient in angioplasty, chemoembolization, embolization, IVC filter placement/removal, and more - **Genitourinary Studies/Procedures Skills:** - Experienced in angiography of genitourinary system, catheter/drain exchange, nephrostomy, and more - **Neurological Studies/Procedures Skills:** - Skilled in carotid angiography, embolization, stent placement, and thrombolysis/thrombectomy - **Vascular Studies/Procedures Skills:** - Knowledgeable in angioplasty, carotid stenting, and TIPS - **Venous Access Skills:** - Central Venous Access (non-tunneled/PICC lines) - **Equipment and Devices Skills:** - Proficient in fluoroscopy - **Procedural Responsibilities Skills:** - Setup equipment, prep access site, maintain sterile field - **Professional Knowledge and Skills:** - Familiar with 3D imaging, isolation precautions, lead tech experience, and response teams - **Infection Control Skills:** - Mastery of sterile technique - **Certifications Required:** - ARRT & BLS - **Preferred Skills & Certifications:** - Additional certifications such as ARRT CI & ARRT VI are advantageous - **Job Details:** - Avg. Daily Census: 450 - Visits/Day: 20 - Rooms: 3 - Beds: 650 - Shift: 40 hours available - Duration: 13-week assignment - Hours: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00 - **RTO Limit:** 7 days max for CatSol auto offers - **Call Requirement:** Yes, 1 day per week, with a rotation schedule - **Weekend Requirement:** 1 weekend every 6-7 weeks - **Special Procedures / Unit Details:** - Perform stroke intervention, intracranial embolization, kyphoplasty, and more - **Special Equipment:** - Fluoroscopy required, GE Innova Single Plane & Siemens Artis Biplane X 2 - **Unit Systems:** - Experience with Pyxis and EPIC required - **Orientation:** - 40 hours of orientation provided - **Scrubs:** - Not provided; required light blue scrubs **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
