Job Summary:
Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician in Anchorage, Alaska. This role involves supporting surgical teams in the operating room, primarily focusing on total joint, neuro, and Xi robotic procedures. The position requires on-call availability, working nights from 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM, with a schedule of three twelve-hour shifts per week. The assignment offers an excellent opportunity to work in a busy OR environment with varied cases and advanced robotic technology.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 5:00 PM - 1:30 AM, 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, at least 3 years of experience, and experience with Da Vinci Xi Robotic Spinal Fusion (orthopedic or neuro services).
• Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with skills in total joint arthroplasty, neuro procedures, Xi robotic cases (gynecology, colorectal, general surgery), and a positive team-oriented attitude.
• Experience Needed: Experience in total joints, multi-level spine fusions, and Xi robotic procedures.
• Additional Information: Candidate must be a patient advocate, comfortable working in a high-volume operating room environment, and adhere to unit policies and dress code (scrubs provided). On-call shifts are required, with an expected call volume averaging 5-6 shifts per four weeks.
